Michael Klumpp
General Manager and Founder
After obtaining a degree in business
administration at the Berufsakadamie Stuttgart, Michael
started work as a financial controller at MTU-München
GmbH, a subsidiary of Daimler-Chrysler AG. As an assistant
to the chairman of the management board of an
international construction company, he was responsible for
controlling corporate holdings and handled company
acquisitions and disposals. Michael gained his experience
in the IT sector as a consultant and later as consulting
manager at Hyperion Solutions Inc. In his position as a
director at Regent Associates, he won and project managed
numerous projects involving company acquisitions and sales.
For instance, among other sales he handled that of the
Internet service provider ECRC to Cable & Wireless,
advised the multimedia division (T-Mart) of Deutsche
Telekom AG as a project manager for corporate acquisitions
as well as advising Brokat AG, listed on the New Market,
in the acquisition of MeTechnology GmbH; he also supported
a number of international projects (American companies) in
acquiring companies in Europe. As Managing Director
of the German M&A company APCON Business Consulting,
Mr. Klumpp advised a large number of technology companies
successfully. At present Mr. Klumpp is responsible for
M&A mandates in the Biotech, Medtech, IT and telco
sector.
